Flavours of Fingal 2023
The Flavours of Fingal Gardening & Horticultural Show will take place on Sat 1st & Sun 2nd July 2023 in Newbridge House Donabate. This is the first of the North Dublin Exhibitor of the Year Shows and is one of 8 shows in 2023.
In the Horticulture Marquee there will be over 80 competition classes for Flowers, Pot Plants, Vegetables, Fruit, Home Baking, Handcrafts, Flower Arranging and special Children’s Classes under 9yrs and under 15yrs. We also have 6 qualifier competitions for All-Ireland Championships in Vegetables & Home Baking to be held later at shows in Tullamore, Virginia, Castleblayney & Tydavnet.
There will also be a wide selection of Floral Art Demonstrations, Gardening Demonstrations, Seed Sowing, Herb Growing, Hanging Basket & Container Gardening, Plant Propagation, Gardening Marquee Treasure Hunt, and all-day Gardening Advice, plus Childrens Corner with free plants, and seed sowing to take home and grow on.
So, if you think that you can grow the Best Vegetables & Flowers in Fingal or if you would like to be the Best Baker in Fingal come along and join us at Flavours…entry to all competitions is FREE, with great prizes to be won.
The Competition Classes are open to everyone, and we especially encourage first time exhibitors who will be assisted with their entries by members of the Fingal gardening clubs. A Perpetual Silver Salver plus a cash prize of €50, sponsored by Fingal Council will be awarded to the Best Exhibit in Sweet Pea, Cut Flowers & Pot Plants, Vegetables & Fruit, Home Baking and Hand Crafts. New for 2023 is over €1000 in prize money including €50 for the Best Exhibit winners and 10 special prizes of €20 for first & €10 for second…see schedule. Also, staging of exhibits in on the Friday 30th June from 1-5pm, followed by the judging at 5:15pm

Flavours of Fingal 2022
We are delighted to announce that the Flavours of Fingal Gardening & Horticultural Show is back again this year, in Newbridge House, Donabate on Saturday & Sunday 2nd/3rd July. Our full schedule is attached. If you wish to take part, you MUST let us know by Wednesday 29th June, so we will know how much space to allocate to each class.
Also a new addition this year is that the Irish Shows Association has agreed to allow us to be a qualifier show for 4 All-Ireland Finals! So if you think you can grow the best vegetables or be Ireland’s best baker, you can qualify to enter the finals later in the summer, by entering an outstanding exhibit at the Flavours of Fingal Show.
